On Thursday we went bowling with my friend Megan and her kids. Her daughter is in Oliver's preschool class. Despite several tumbles (her one year old and Elliot both took spills) and bruised fingers, kids had a blast "playing bowling." No one dropped a ball on their toe, and so we count that as a victory. This bowling alley was a far cry from the dingy smoke-filled bowling alleys that I remember growing up. They had bumpers and a handy little ramp to roll the balls down. Megan and I played without bumpers. Needless to say, the kids beat us handily.
